Marie Burkinshaw

Finance Director

Marie is a Chartered Accountant and has worked within finance for over 18 years.  She trained as an auditor at PwC, one of the “Big 4” accountancy firms thereby equipping her to work at the highest levels in accountancy.  After qualifying, Marie worked in industry at a large national retailer and also in higher education before joining H E Barnes in 2017 where she heads up the finance function.

Marie’s broad experience gives her a good insight into how different sectors of the economy operate.  This background means that Marie is very professional and thorough but also commercially minded.
